Optimal is not always optimal

If you concentrate too much on optimizing organizational processes, you run the risk of making it increasingly hard for employees to work in a nice, optimal and productive way.

Lean management, agile, scrum, et al… It all seems too optimize the work, when looking at it from a high level. But low level, down on the ground, where the actual work happens, all this standing up and quickly, continuously, ever-changing back and forth can keep people from actually being able to do their job well.
